This week Mamiya dropped its entry-level digital cameras for the pro photographer with a starting price in the $10,000 range. That is a lot of cash for a digital camera and makes the high-end cameras from Nikon look cheap by comparison. Mamiya also unveiled four new Mamiya DM digital backs this week as well. The Mamiya digital cameras are modular so upgrading the back upgrades the internals of the camera allowing the photographer to upgrade with modular components rather than buy an en

Windows 7 has just been released all over the world and I am sure many of you are gearing up to upgrade the OS of your PC to Windows 7. One thing which comes to my mind immediately when I think of upgrading my OS, is about the compatible drivers. A lot of older hardware and software were not designed for Windows 7 (or even Vista for that matter), so they may require an update or new driver in order to operate correctly on Windows 7. The decision to provide a Windows 7 driver or update

Here is an reliable review of the new product from Galore Jerk called “ the mini site formula review “. In all honesty, I very dislike the name of the product because it sounds scam and dishonest. I hold the product a try because it offers 7 days test for ONLY $9.95. So I thought I got zero to recede to hold it a try. After I read through a couple of the guides and watched the telecasting tutorials, I variety of like the product because it makes allow a plenty of particular and high-quality i

We already saw the Picsio GC-FM1's splashy debut for Japan, but now JVC is announcing the camera for a Stateside release. Its advertised "1080p" resolution is actually 1440 x 1080 at 30 fps, while the 1280 x 720 mode at 60 fps sounds much more enticing to us, and it's all recorded to SD card (none is included) as H.264 .MOV files. There's really not a lot to set the camera apart in a sea of pocket cams, but you can always watch the incredible all-dancing, all-crazy promo video again after the

Thank you to the incredible portrait photographer Jodie Otte of Black Horse Studio for this thought provoking answer to the question: “How should I price my photography?” As a general observation, I am shocked at the low prices of a lot of photographers - especially new photogs, and I hope this isn’t offensive to anyone, but what is more important than your photography, is your business skills when running a business. This industry is completely saturated with underpriced photogra

I own many digital cameras right now and have owned many others in the past so I have a lot of experiences with various brands and models and can offer you loads of advice based on my own experiences. Let me tell you a little about my current faves in case you’re in the market for a digital camera but have no idea where to start looking. I admit it, I am a Canon girl.
