“Dear Dave: Why do virtually all cameras with rechargeable batteries require you to remove them for charging? I don’t understand this, since the battery technology is the same as cell phones, iPods, camcorders, games consoles, etc., and they don’t require you to remove the battery.

They also like digital cameras and the idea of capturing a friend or family member in a candid mood or still shot is a lot of fun and, as photographers know, taking pictures can help you view your world in different ways.

Gov. Charlie Crist on Friday announced more than 2,300 caseworkers responsible for foster care have begun using smartphones, digital cameras and laptops.
