Shoppers packed into both Short Pump area Circuit City stores yesterday, in search of closeout deals following Circuit City’s announcement Friday that it would liquidate all assets and close stores by the end of March. When I was a teenager I wanted a “real camera” so so much — I built a pinhole camera from the instructions in a 4-H booklet, and I shot rolls of 110 with it and also a crappy little camera I bought at a department store with money from my library job. Here is good news for phone owners who want better images. NEC has reportedly shipped samples of their CE 131 image processing LSI chips which can be used in camera phones.
