Nikon D300 is meant to be more affordable, more accessible version of its excellent D3 digital SLR, but it does not mean it is not a great camera in its own right. Like his older brother, D300 supports "Live View, meaning users can listen to and create their images on the LCD screen rather than through the viewfinder, a function which was rare for dSLRs until recently. Nikon reputation for outstanding SLRS appears to be safe with the D300, and those promising to get involved with the lofty goal
